Bhubaneswar Development receives strong push with new roads and Ashray Bhavan project inaugurated and started by Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi.
Bhubaneswar Development gets a major push with new infrastructure projects in the city. BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi said today is a great day for Bhubaneswar. She praised the launch of major projects worth Rs 1623 Crores.Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated and started these projects. The developments include important road works and a new facility for visitors.
One key part of Bhubaneswar Development is the inauguration of a 7 km road from Ekamra Kanan to Institute of Mathematics via Infocity. This road project is worth Rs 124 Crores. CM Mohan Charan Majhi performed the inauguration. Aparajita Sarangi and others were present during the event.Another major step under Bhubaneswar Development is the start of a 9.5 km road from Jaydev Vihar to Nandan Kanan. This stretch will include 4 major flyovers. The project forms part of the large set of works worth Rs 1623 Crores.In addition, the Ashray Bhavan project worth Rs 500 Crores was started in Bhubaneswar. This facility aims to provide stay options for people coming from all over the state.
Aparajita Sarangi, the BJP MP representing Bhubaneswar in the Lok Sabha, expressed delight over the progress. She said, “Today is a great day for Bhubaneswar. Major projects worth Rs 1623 Crores have been inaugurated or started by CM Mohan Charan Majhi. I, as MP representing Bhubaneswar in the Lok Sabha, am delighted.”
She added details about the events. “Today, a major road from Ekamra Kanan to Institute of Mathematics via Infocity of 7 km worth Rs 124 Crores was inaugurated by CM. We were all present with him and then a very big road of 9.5 km from Jaydev Vihar to Nandan Kanan was also started today. In this stretch of road there will be 4 major flyovers. A very important and interesting thing worth Rs 500 Crores was started today in Bhubaneswar – Ashray Bhavan. People coming from all over the state would be getting some place to stay. That is the concept of our govt here in Odisha.”
These projects are expected to improve connectivity in the city. The new roads will help ease movement between important areas.
