CM-KISAN funds have reached farmers across Odisha. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has released the fifth instalment under the CM-KISAN scheme for the year 2026-27. The total amount stands at more than Rs 833 crore. The money has been sent directly to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer.
The announcement came from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi confirmed the release of the fifth instalment of CM-KISAN assistance. The support covers the 2026-27 Rabi crop season. More than Rs 833 crore has been transferred. The process used Direct Benefit Transfer so the money reaches farmers without delay.
The government has provided the fifth instalment as promised. Farmers received the funds in their bank accounts. The amount exceeds Rs 833 crore. This assistance is meant for the Rabi season of 2026-27. Farmers can use the money to buy seeds, fertilisers and other needed inputs on time. The scheme continues the earlier pattern of direct support to farming families.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said, “As promised, our government has provided the fifth instalment of the CM-KISAN assistance directly into farmers’ bank accounts through DBT. For the 2026–27 Rabi crop, farmers have been provided with more than Rs 833 crore in assistance. The funds will help farmers prepare for the upcoming Rabi season, including the timely purchase of seeds, fertilisers and other inputs. Our aim is to double farmers’ income and provide support in case of seasonal crop losses.”
The CM-KISAN money arrives before the Rabi season begins. Farmers can plan their spending on seeds and fertilisers. Timely purchase of inputs becomes easier. The government also aims to raise farmers’ overall income. Support is available if seasonal crop losses occur. Direct transfer reduces delays and ensures the full amount reaches the intended accounts.
Farmers who are part of the CM-KISAN scheme should check their bank accounts for the credit. The funds are already transferred.
